Operation Red Nose is an important road safety campaign against impaired driving.
During the holiday season, Operation Red Nose provides a safe ride home service to motorists who have consumed alcohol or who don’t feel fit to drive.
The service is provided entirely by volunteers and is an original way of getting home in one’s own vehicle without getting behind the wheel.
Since 1984, Operation Red Nose has adopted the following mission: To encourage responsible behaviour with regard to impaired driving in a non-judgmental manner by enabling communities to provide a free and confidential chauffeur service to their members, the financial donations of which are redistributed to local organizations dedicated to youth.
In Regina, this program runs in November & December every year and is put on by the Regina Queen City Kin clubs, their friends and families, and anyone else from the community that is willing to volunteer and help keep Regina streets safe!
